Aranyakumar is a young and talented artist. He was born in the ashram and grew in the spiritual and devotional milieu of north Karnataka. He started joining the bhajan session when still in his mother's womb and discovered his natural bent for classsical music when he was a few years old. Though he left the village to study music with the best teachers in both the traditional system of gharanas and the modern one of degrees, he never forgot his roots. Knowing how hard it is for a village boy to gain access to music teaching he opened a music school for rural people, with the aim of helping young talents from the villages to come up in music.

Aranyakumar è un giovane artista di talento. E' nato nell'ashram ed è cresciuto nell'ambiente spirituale e religioso del Karnataka settentrionale, partecipando alle sessioni di bhajan sin da quando era nella pancia della madre. I genitori scoprirono la sua grande inclinazione per la musica quando era un bimbo di qualche anno ma cominciò a studiare seriamente solo nell'adolescenza. Sebbene Aranya abbia dovuto lasciare il villaggio per perseguire gli studi di musica, sia nel sistema scolstico che in quello tradizionale dei gharana, non ha mai dimenticato le sue radici. Sapendo bene quanto sia difficile per un ragazzo di villaggio accostarsi alla musica classica e accederne all'insegnamento, ha fondato una scuola di musica rurale, con l'obiettivo di aiutare i giovani talenti dei villaggi a diventare degli artisti.
